Sylvain Heraud (né en 1985 à Cannes) est un photographe éditorial et d’architecture français. Son travail explore les relations entre les personnes, les lieux et l’architecture, avec un intérêt particulier pour l’art, le patrimoine et les paysages façonnés par l’histoire.
Basé dans le sud de la France, il travaille en France et en Europe pour des commandes éditoriales, parallèlement à ses projets photographiques au long cours. Il a notamment photographié l’univers d’Anselm Kiefer à La Ribaute, la tour LUMA de Frank Gehry à Arles et les paysages monumentaux de l’ex-Yougoslavie.
Ses photographies ont été publiées dans Smithsonian Magazine et National Geographic, entre autres, et son travail a été exposé et récompensé à l’international.
Sylvain Heraud is a French editorial and architectural photographer based in the South of France. His work explores the relationship between people, places and architecture, with a particular interest in art, cultural heritage and the ways history shapes landscapes.
Working across France and Europe, he photographs editorial assignments alongside long-term personal projects. His subjects have ranged from Anselm Kiefer’s La Ribaute and Frank Gehry’s LUMA Tower to the monumental landscapes of the former Yugoslavia.
His photographs have been published by Smithsonian Magazine and National Geographic, among others, and his work has been exhibited and awarded internationally.
